The band started in 2006 after the demise of Abernathy. Guitarist/Singer Matthew Ozelius joined Drummer Jordan "Kidd" and they began practicing and writing new songs. Eventually they decided they needed a bass player and they asked their friend Roger Hucek to play bass. He agreed and they booked thier first show. They played thier first show Mothers Day 2007 with One Happy Island, the Slurred Murrays and Faulty Conscience. [1] Faulty Conscience guitarists Julian and Chestnut's moms were the only moms in attendance.
