RAW Haüs, also known as the Rotten Apple Workshop, is a communal-living style punk house and show space located in Ann Arbor, MI. It is the main part of the two-house property sometimes called the Raw Pound, along with it's sister the WAR House.

[edit] Purpose
The RAW Haüs serves as home to many of Ann Arbor's local punk community, as well as a safe and relatively clean place for travelers coming through town to stay whether they need a place to sleep or just want to meet the locals. It also serves as a performance/rehearsal space for bands and circus/theater/art groups and troupes. Workshops such as stencil making and bike repair, projected movie nights, potluck dinners, live music, bonfires, camping, etc. are some of the activities that RAW Haüs hosts, along with many of the events and housing throughout Ann Arbor's annual Punk Week festivities.

Originally founded in the late nineties, it's current incarnation started in early 2001. The name refers to the fact that one of the original founders had a record label (Rotten Apple Records) based out of the house, as well as that there were chainmail and glass blowing studios set up in the basement.
