[edit] Biography

Street Dogs is a band featuring Mike McColgan formerly of the Dropkick Murphys. They originated in Boston, Massachusetts. Along with Mike is Johnny Rioux, Marcus Hollar, Tobe Bean III, and Paul Rucker. Along with bassist Rioux, McColgan formed the band in 2002 because he couldn't stay away from the music. Savin Hill, their first album, was released in 2002 and was a success leading to a supporting tour with the Celtic punk band Flogging Molly. In 2004 McColgan quit his fire fighting career to be fully devoted to recording and promoting Back To The World, their second album. In 2006 they released their third album, Fading American Dream.
